hectic times – a couple of weeks in tasmania, and then christmas craziness.

the tidal waves that have been landing through south-east asia hit tonsai beach as well – thankfully none of the people i know who are climbing there at the moment were hurt (or drowned). the wave wasn’t so bad there – i hope everyone out there managed to escape serious harm. my flatmate was up on the beachside cliffs watching the whole thing unfold.

The weather fortunately cleared for this portion of the trip. This was the view from Mt Colombia, near the High Moor campsite.

Then they told me: “You are now free to go”. Excellent. When I got out, I’d never felt so glad to be Australian (well, not living in American anyway).

haha! i said i’d do it, and finally, after months of achieving nothing, we have an updated web site, that does all sorts of things of its own accord. some of which i’m trying to stop it from doing, but we’ll see how we go.
