tis me, wandering up the first of the heat climbs the other weekend (for the comp thingo, yes). damned overhanging walls. the next heat was the blue climb, and then the final was the yellow – all in shot. and one after the other, i was much pumped by the end of things.

well, i’ve not done anything with this site for absolutely ages! i think i got frustrated with the issue of trying to find the best way to include comments and archives, so i can stop doing everything manually. which is alright for a while, but once the random postings start to build up, it becomes a bit much. the issue hasn’t been solved (grrr), but this site was looking so lonely, i had to take pity on it.

anyway, there’s been a lot of climbing going on – nowra trips, and that sort of thing. and organising of the uni rockclimbing and bouldering championships – which came off pretty well yes, thank you. oh, and i was going to go to the grampians for a climb this weekend – but it’s going to be snowing – and really, i have to draw the line somewhere.

It had been some time since I’d been out in my home state. Unfortunately this trip to Mt Cobbler wasn’t particularly successful – due to weather conditions, we were unable to locate the summit. I shall return.
